  • Outer coarse filter basket can be used independently. Its maximum filtration capacity is 400µm. Designed for heavy-duty initial cleanup and high-volume debris scenarios, it reduces the risk of clogging.

  • Inner non-woven fabric filter must be used in conjunction with the coarse filter basket and cannot be used alone. Its maximum filtration capacity is 3µm. Suitable for fine dust, algae, and other ultra-fine debris.

    So good I haven’t needed it

    The Beatbot standard filter basket is all I have needed this year. My sora 70 does a good job when I leave my filtration system on, but it does a great job when I shut the pump off. The inlet side of the pool has 3 inlets and the sora unit is sensitive to the water pressure, leaving some debris on the floor. But when I pay attention to the instructions and turn off the pump it cleans everywhere.

    This is my 4th robot in ten years. The Sora 70 is my first battery operated one. At 79 years old I have to watch where I walk and those corded units were a trip hazard every day. The battery longevity of 7 hours is remarkable. The skimmer option works fine but I need to use the bot everywhere because we are surrounded by trees. My next Beatbot will definitely be the solar operated skimmer unit, as soon as I can afford it. My Beatbot experience including the customer service has been excellent. Beatbot adjusted my purchase price because a lower price was published the same day I received my Sora 70 and they gave me a cover for the Sora 70 for my trouble.

    The pictures just display how clean the pool stays including the steps. None of my prior units cleaned the steps, but the Sora 70 does it all.

    This picks up crud you do not see!

    We are using this with our Sora70. I thought this would be a simple blanket that you would insert into your existing filter basket, but this comes with its own basket which means it is easy to switch out. I thought our pool was pristine until this thing showed up! The attached pictures from Herbie doing 3 eco runs of I believe 45 minutes each! This collects the ultra fine particles that you do not see! Now my pristine pool will actually be pristine!

    Ultra Fine Filter

    Thr Ultra Fine filter is a great addition, but the skimming function doesn't work when using it.

    Great Second

    I am glad I have a second filter basket in that when my vacuum is done I take out the dirty one and place it upside down to dry and put the clean on in the the next go around.
