I live in a 70s home in one of the older (but very nice) parts of Miami. Our pool was last renovated in 2012 — and funny enough, we're about to renovate it again next week. I swim almost every day, so keeping it clean is a real priority.
I'm 65 now, and as much as I've tried to keep up, pool maintenance has gotten harder. I still have a pool guy who comes every two weeks to brush steps and add chemicals, but I needed something smarter for the daily mess. I'm pretty open-minded and like keeping up with new tech, so when I saw Beatbot's ad on Facebook, I clicked in.
At first I thought, "Why is this thing so expensive?" But after watching the videos on the website and reading up more, I started to get it. I even checked Amazon and compared a few options. The dual filter basket setup really stood out — none of the others seemed as well thought out.
I actually asked my pool guy what he thought. He shrugged and said, "Most of these robots don't do great in corners or steps." But what convinced me in the end was the warranty. I liked knowing I had some peace of mind if it didn't work out.
So far, I've been using the AquaSense 2 Ultra for a few weeks now. I usually drop it in the pool in the morning before heading out. By the time I'm home in the evening, the pool looks great. I don't have to think about it.
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that — like my pool guy said — it still doesn't quite get every little spot, especially in the tricky areas. I get that…
